How can I enroll my dog into your daycare service?
If you feel that your dog meets all of our requirements, the first step is to fill out our online application. Once we receive it, you will be contacted within two business days to schedule a time for a temperament evaluation. In the mean time, we ask that you make sure your dog is current with his/her vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP and Bordatella). We will need proof of this during the evaluation. Please note: the application/evaluations will start sometime in April. Once your dog has "passed" they will be allowed to attend daycare immeditaely.
What are the hours of the temperament evaluations?
They will usually be held on the weekend when it will not be so busy. We will use our own dogs for testing how your dog(s) interact. First we will go over the details of the daycare with you. Then we will do the evaluation (we ask that you are not present at this time so your dog is not distracted/affected in anyway by you, his/her owner). This part will take about 30 minutes, but you can leave them for up to 1 hr if it is more convenient for you.
Do I need to make an appointment to visit your facility?
Once we have finished renovating (tentatively mid-April) we will be setting up times for prospective daycare clients & their owners to view our new daycare. We will also be having an open house so you can view/tour our facility.
What will my dog do all day?
Play, Run, Nap/Snack, Romp, Have fun with friends . We are a cage free daycare; all dogs will have access to in and outdoor areas at all times.
What if my dog becomes ill or injured during daycare?
We will try in all cases to notify you, but we will contact our local veterinarian (Gray-NG Vet) and transport your dog there if it is necessary. Our vet is only 7 minutes away.
Why don't you offer boarding?
We are not zoned in our town to allow for boarding. But we do offer pet sitting in your home, which covers not only dogs but any other pets you may have.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept cash, personal check or debit/credit cards (VISA, MC, DISC).
